The G-1, responsible for human resources activities for the U.S. Army, wanted a way to connect Soldiers and their support systems back home. In addition to being easy to use and secure, the Army also needed to provide ways to address challenging topics and effect positive behavioral change.
O'Keeffe & Company developed a custom social network – GTSY.com – to forge connections and deliver entertaining and critical messages to reach Soldiers via online videos, discussion forums, and group network programs.
In addition to building the social networking platform, O'Keeffe & Company engaged with dozens of celebrities to create customized shout outs to the troops and developed videos designed to foster conversation on a wide range of personnel topics.
