With incentive payments scheduled to start in 2011, healthcare organizations were working on how to implement an Electronic Health Record (EHR) and still deliver great patient care. Yet, while the healthcare industry was focused on Meaningful Use, patients were worried about something else – the security of their personal health information.
O'Keeffe & Company worked with CDW Healthcare to develop companion reports that established an EHR cost model for physician practices and outlined patient perceptions of IT security in healthcare and patient requirements for the protection of their personal information.
